A lamp is functional of course and provides lighting for our reading, chillen', or ambient selfies...lol. Yet, lamps are soo much more than function for me. Lighting is a perfect opportunity to sprinkle some more jewelry around the home. A lot of people run to the purse section, I run to the lighting store! I need that luxy craftsmanship at my fingertips. I enjoy the beautiful facets flickering in my peripheral over dinner or while cuddling in bed.
