Warm vibrant tones and accents of gold add the perfect touch of harvest to any mantel when swapping out your spooky vibes for Turkey day! If you know me, you know I love orange and yellow and I'll find any excuse to use this combo, especially in my fall decor.
This year when updating our mantel for Turkey day, I mixed and matched the dollar store pumpkins I already had from Halloween with vibrant oranges, yellows, gold accents, and natural materials. I reincorporated my vintage Haitian statue to keep that afrocentric vibe, and I hung a gold wall piece to anchor the setting. Going with a symmetrical layout balanced the scene, a wink of a maximalistic vintage chotski feel. Then I built up the display with elements that would sustain continuity and match with the rest of my living room.
